Job Vacancy – Inventory Controller
Abdeen Grand Stores is seeking to hire a qualified Inventory Controller to join our Finance Department, working at our Mecca showroom and warehouses.
Key Responsibilities
• Monitor item movements across showrooms and warehouses, ensuring the accuracy of physical balances in the system.
• Conduct regular and spot inventory counts, reconcile results with the ERP system, and handle discrepancies promptly.
• Analyze inventory variances and provide recommendations for corrective and preventive actions.
• Review sales and inventory reports through ERP / Excel / POS systems and issue weekly and monthly reports.
• Apply storage and safety policies to ensure proper inventory flow and data integrity.
• Identify slow-moving items and propose clearance, bundling, or discount strategies.
• Coordinate with the Sales and Warehouse departments to ensure product availability and avoid stockouts.
• Participate in inventory committees and perform partial or full stock counts as per the work plan.
Qualifications & Requirements
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory control or warehouse operations experience in retail or trading sectors is an added advantage.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems, with high attention to detail in data entry.
• Excellent analytical, follow-up, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Willingness to work on-site in both showrooms and warehouses, with the ability to handle work pressure.
