Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead and oversee the financial strategy and operations of our group. The ideal candidate will possess a strong track record of financial leadership within the Oil & Gas, Construction, or Industrial sectors, with hands-on experience in India, Qatar, or the UAE.
The CFO will play a key role in guiding strategic decision-making, ensuring the financial strength of the organization, optimizing costs, and supporting the company’s growth and investment initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes across the organization.
• Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to the CEO and Board of Directors.
• Oversee capital structure, financing strategies, cash flow management, and working capital optimization.
• Ensure compliance with international and regional financial regulations, taxation laws, and internal policies.
• Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, financial institutions, and regulatory authorities.
• Evaluate and manage financial risks, investment opportunities, and cost optimization initiatives.
• Oversee accounting, financial reporting, treasury, tax, and internal audit functions.
• Develop and implement financial policies, systems, and internal controls aligned with corporate objectives.
• Support mergers and acquisitions (M&A), project financing, and major capital investment decisions.
• Work closely with operations and project teams to monitor and improve project financial performance.
Qualifications & Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA, CA, or ACCA certification preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of progressive financial leadership experience, including at least 10 years in a CFO or senior finance executive role.
• Proven experience working in India, Qatar, or the UAE.
• Strong background in the Oil & Gas, Construction, or Industrial Manufacturing sectors.
• In-depth knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), project finance, and financial governance.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex group structures and lead cross-functional teams in dynamic environments.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and strategic planning skills.
• Preferably a foreign nationality candidate with international exposure and experience working in multicultural environments.
