About Semsem:
Semsem is the first AI-powered virtual retailer for health, beauty, and wellness products in the MENA region. We’re redefining how consumers access authentic, affordable wellness products by connecting them directly to verified local distributors through a light-asset B2B2C marketplace model.
We’re now looking for a creative, data-driven Marketing & Brand Executive to help shape Semsem’s voice, strengthen its brand identity, drive market penetration, and optimize our digital presence through analytics and performance marketing. This is a unique equity-based opportunity to join a fast-scaling startup as an early core member of the founding team.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute brand positioning, storytelling, and communication strategies across digital channels.
- Plan and manage integrated marketing campaigns that build awareness, engagement, and conversions.
- Design and produce visual and video content for Semsem’s website, social media, and digital ads.
- Lead SEO and content optimization efforts to improve visibility and organic reach.
- Conduct keyword research, content audits, and backlink strategies to grow website authority.
- Manage and optimize paid and organic social media campaigns across Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and other platforms.
- Track and analyze marketing performance metrics (traffic, conversions, ROAS, CAC, retention, etc.) to drive data-informed decisions.
- Implement and manage tracking tools such as Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, and conversion APIs to ensure accurate attribution.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to refine targeting and positioning.
- Collaborate with product, design, and operations teams to ensure brand consistency and customer experience alignment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in marketing, branding, or digital growth roles — preferably in e-commerce, health, or wellness sectors.
- Proven expertise in brand strategy, market positioning, and digital storytelling.
- Hands-on experience with SEO tools (Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc.) and analytics platforms (Google Analytics 4).
- Working knowledge of Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, and Meta Business Suite (especially Meta Shop or similar e-commerce ad tools).
- Proficiency in graphic design (Adobe Suite / Canva) and video editing (Premiere Pro, CapCut, or similar).
- Strong understanding of social media strategy, content trends, and performance analytics.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to convert insights into actionable marketing strategies.
- Fluency in English and Arabic (written & spoken).
