Key Accountabilities:
- Participates in managing HR processes (recruitment, internal mobility, training, performance evaluation…) to ensure the consistency of HR decisions with business needs. Design and leads specific HR projects in the business unit to answer specific needs.
- Meets on regular basis the key stakeholders to discuss people’s challenges.
- Provides guidance on HR policies and practices and its’ interpretation to ensure achieving employees satisfaction and business results.
- Acts as a focal point of reference as a people expert with the specialists’ teams of HR when implementing new people approaches.
- Attends weekly management meetings with respective business units.
- Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR team to develop solutions, programs and policies.
- Manages and resolves employees’ relations issues, through multiples ways such as providing guidance.
- Maintains in depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day to day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/required.
- Supports, advises, and coaches managers in their responsibility for managing and motivating their teams to improve individual performance by providing day to day performance management guidance such as coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions.
- Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
- Provides guidance and input on business unit organization structures, workforce planning, employment, learning….
- Defines, proposes, and implements HR annual business plan to support directors and managers in their achievements and to meet business targets.
- Manages with the support of the shared services the main HR processes (recruitment, training, mobility, career development…) for the respective business unit in consistency with HR policies and business needs to improve global performance of the BU.
- Controls the manpower planning (right people, right place, right time) of his BU in consistency with the budget (including staffing, mobility, redeployment) to optimize staff deployment and to improve the BU performance
- Monitors on monthly basis the labor cost and headcount analysis and come up with solutions to optimize resources (redeployment, exit actions) with coordination with the Business Units Management.
- Understands the strategy of the company and make sure HR processes are aligned with the strategy.
- Ensure that all needed updates in HR reach all employees through clear communication and other channels such as internal communication.
- Oversee and ensure the accuracy of the time attendance system, including monitoring compliance with company policies, resolving discrepancies, and generating required reports for management.
- Manage and administer the service agreement resources, ensuring contracts are updated, compliant, and aligned with organizational needs while monitoring performance and renewal timelines.
- Contributes to specific transversal projects.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree of Human Resources Management, Business Administration or Finance
- HR certification is a plus.
- 7-10 years of experience working as an HR specialist; 4 of which are at a managerial level.
