Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Amman for a Sea Freight Officer. The Sea Freight Officer will oversee and coordinate shipments, communicate with suppliers and clients, handle shipping documentation, and ensure compliance with customs regulations. Additional responsibilities include managing freight bookings, monitoring schedules, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure delivery timelines and cost efficiency. Attention to detail and a focus on client satisfaction are key priorities for this role.
Qualifications
- Strong Analytical Skills and proficiency in Supply Chain Management tasks
- Demonstrated Customer Service abilities and effective Communication skills
- Experience in Procurement and logistics operations
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
- Prior experience in freight forwarding or related fields is a plus
- Proficiency in shipping software and tracking systems is advantageous
