Scope of the Position
The Senior Accountant plays a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting across Acuative’s EMEA and US operations. This hands-on position is responsible for managing the full spectrum of accounting activities, including General Ledger maintenance, accounts payable and receivable, project invoicing, multicurrency and intercompany accounting, bank reconciliations, and collections.
The role also involves collaborating closely with managerial staff and international teams to maintain financial compliance, support audits, and contribute to process improvements that enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the finance function. This position directly impacts the financial integrity and operational success of the organization.
Key responsibilities include:
- Perform General Ledger (GL) accounting, monthly closings, and trial balance account analysis.
- Prepare project-related invoicing and perform financial analysis.
- Manage collections and ensure timely follow-ups.
- Reconcile accounts with bank statements.
- Process Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions accurately.
- Liaise with managerial staff and other colleagues to support financial operations.
- Handle multicurrency accounting and ensure accurate reporting across multiple entities.
- Perform intercompany accounting and reporting.
Required Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a multinational environment.
- Strong experience with multi-currency accounting and international business reporting.
- Ability to work efficiently and meet agreed deadlines.
- Excellent Microsoft Excel and Word skills.
- Experience with Microsoft D365 is desirable but not essential.
- Willingness to learn new tasks as instructed by the Accounting Manager.

- Capable of coaching and improving team members to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with the Accounting Manager to increase productivity and efficiency.
- Strong honesty, discretion, and reliability, with a team-oriented mindset.
- Excellent teamwork skills; interaction with teams in the USA, KSA, and UK is required.
- Fluent in English and Arabic (written and spoken).
