Acuative is a US-owned company operating across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), with offices in Uxbridge (UK), Amman (Jordan), and Riyadh (KSA). We provide IT Consulting and Managed Services to multinational clients, primarily in the Finance, IT, and Retail sectors.
Role Overview
We are seeking a hands-on Accountant to join our EMEA finance team. Reporting directly to the EMEA Accounting Manager, this role will support both EMEA and US operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, efficient processes, and timely delivery of accounting tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform General Ledger (GL) accounting, including monthly closing and trial balance analysis
- Handle project-related invoicing and financial analysis
- Manage collections and follow up on outstanding receivables
- Conduct bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Oversee Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes
- Coordinate with internal teams and managerial staff across regions
- Manage multi-currency transactions and reporting
- Perform intercompany accounting and reconciliations
- Support and ensure adherence to financial deadlines and reporting timelines
- Assist in improving accounting processes and team efficiency
- Collaborate with the Accounting Manager to enhance productivity and controls
- Provide guidance and supervision to ensure accounting tasks are completed accurately
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience
- Experience working in a multinational environment is a plus
- Strong experience in multi-currency accounting and international reporting (mandatory)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of Microsoft Word
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) is desirable but not essential
- Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively across global teams (USA, KSA, UK)
- Fluent in English and Arabic (both written and spoken)
