Purpose of the role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team in our Lockton Jordan office. The ideal candidate will assist in daily accounting operations, support financial reporting, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Record and post daily financial transactions in the accounting system.
- Prepare and reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Process invoices, payments, and expense reports accurately and on time.
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records
- Collaborate with the finance team during audits and month-end closing
- Ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 0–2 years of relevant experience (fresh graduates are welcome)
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel and familiarity with accounting software
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
