About The Role
Migrate Global is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced
Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax compliance. This role requires a professional who can manage financial records, ensure regulatory compliance, support business decision-making, and contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, analyze, and review financial statements and management reports.
- Manage the general ledger and ensure accurate and timely record-keeping.
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Prepare and review tax returns, reports, and related documentation.
- Ensure compliance with applicable tax laws, regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Research and interpret tax legislation, regulatory updates, and their impact on the business.
- Collaborate with accounting, finance, and cross-functional teams on tax-related matters.
- Support internal and external audit processes and liaise with auditors as required.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA, CMA, ACCA, or equivalent professional certification is preferred. (CPA preferred )
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including significant exposure to taxation and compliance.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP/accounting standards and applicable tax laws and regulations. [
- Proven experience in tax preparation, tax compliance, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. [
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments. [
