The Operations Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the F&B kitchen and service teams by ensuring that all logistical and operational needs are met efficiently. This role manages the movement of food, beverages, and supplies, coordinates schedules and resources, and ensures compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards. By overseeing transportation, inventory flow, and day-to-day operational support, the Operations Coordinator enables the line manager to focus on strategic oversight while ensuring seamless kitchen and service delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinates and supervises transportation and delivery activities to ensure timely and accurate movement of F&B, and kitchen supplies.
- Monitors and supports vehicle maintenance, fuel usage, licensing renewals, and cleanliness to ensure operational readiness.
- Schedules and coordinates drivers’ movements, provides day-to-day support, and conducts regular visits to cafeterias to ensure efficiency and service quality.
- Ensures transport operations comply with health, safety, hygiene, and legal standards, reporting any risks or incidents promptly.
- Monitors loading and unloading of goods and collaborates with kitchen and store teams to ensure smooth logistics flow.
- Maintains accurate records including transport logs, fuel consumption, delivery documentation, and related reports.
- Coordinates purchasing-related transport activities, including order pickups and deliveries between the kitchen and external sites.
- Oversees collection and return of items and catering equipment from various locations, verify inventory, and ensure proper delivery back to the kitchen.
- Tracks issuance and return of cutlery through the designated system, ensuring documentation and control measures are followed.
- Verifies outgoing orders and cafeteria requests, checks supporting documents, and ensures items are dispatched accurately and in compliance with procedures.
- Monitors transfer (in/out) between departments and external sites, ensuring proper documentation and completion of quality check forms.
- Assists and supports catering services for both corporate and individual clients.
- Coordinates store logistics, including stock transfers and inventory support.
- Plans and supervises delivery timetables across all outlets, ensuring efficiency and adherence to service standards.
- Supports coordination with Marketing for upcoming campaigns, ensuring logistics readiness and timely execution.
- Assists in managing cafeterias and monitoring stock levels, ensuring product availability, minimizing waste, and maintaining service quality.
Qualifications:
- BA in Business Administration or any related field.
- 3-5 years of experience
- Strong English and Arabic language skills (written and spoken)
- Must possess a valid driver license.
- Must possess a safe driving record.
- Able to read maps and driving directions and to plan the most efficient route service.
- Able to read the road signs in English
- Serve as a positive role model while providing transportation services
- Good communication skills, pleasant manner, remain calm under pressure, smart appearance
- Strong team player with high team spirit and positive attitude.
