The operations Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the transportation needs of the F&B kitchen, ensuring the timely and safe delivery of food, beverages, and supplies. This role oversee fleet operations, ensures vehicles are properly maintained, coordinates driver schedules, and ensures all transport activities comply with health, safety, and hygiene standards to support seamless kitchen and service operations.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate transportation and delivery activities to ensure timely and accurate movement of food, beverages, and kitchen supplies.
- Monitor and support vehicle maintenance, fuel usage, licensing renewals, and cleanliness to ensure operational readiness.
- Organize driver schedules and provide day-to-day support to ensure efficiency, and adherence to compliance regulations.
- Compliance & Safety – Ensuring transport operations meet health, safety, hygiene, and legal standards.
- Ensure all transport operations comply with health, safety, hygiene, and legal standards and reporting any risks or incidents promptly.
- Assist with loading and unloading goods and collaborate with kitchen and store teams to ensure smooth logistics flow.
- Maintain accurate transport logs, fuel consumption records, delivery documentation, and related reports.
- Coordinate purchasing-related transport activities, including order pickups and deliveries between the kitchen and external sites.
- Oversee the collection and return of items from various locations, verify inventory, and ensure proper delivery back to the kitchen.
- Track the issuance and return of cutlery through the designated system, ensuring proper documentation and control measures are followed.
- Verify outgoing orders and cafeteria requests, check supporting documents, and ensure items are dispatched accurately and in compliance with procedures.
- Facilitate internal transfers between departments, ensuring all activities are properly documented with delivery notes or invoices.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- 3-5 years of experience
- Strong English and Arabic language skills (written and spoken)
- Must possess a valid driver license.
- Must possess a safe driving record.
- Able to read maps and driving directions and to plan the most efficient route service.
- Able to read the road signs in English
- Serve as a positive role model while providing transportation services
- Good communication skills, pleasant manner, remain calm under pressure, smart appearance
- Strong team player with high team spirit and positive attitude.
