1. JOB DETAILS:Job Title:Senior Accountant / Finance Specialist – HPIL, UK

2. JOB PURPOSE The Finance Specialist applies principles of accounting, finance and analyses financial information to assist with preparing financial statements by performing and reviewing the monthly financial close responsibilities as well support finance manager in financial planning and Analysis. Additionally, the finance specialist is a strategic professional who contributes by adding value through overseeing the financial reporting responsibilities and improves current processes. This individual will have exposure to full financial results and willparticipate in various projects and initiatives.
3. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES · Prepare Flash sales, PURP file, Sales pricing, transfer pricing.· Prepare Forecasts, budgets and business plans.· Daily responsibilities: Material release, costing materials, verifying sales orders, issuing PGI &issuing invoices.· Collaborate with business stakeholders, posting off contract sales per material and commission/distribution fees.· Approve A/P invoices, oversight aging reports and control inventory.· Data governance supervision and cooperating with data master team.· Work with China office and collaborate with procurement on global procurement projects.· Perform in and outgoing payments, book intercompany transactions and perform IC and 3rd party reconciliations.· Prepare month closing accounting package and group required reports.
4. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting/Finance or similar field.
- Preferred: Professional Certificates
EXPERIENCE
- At least 3-4 (Senior) / 5-7 (Specialist) years’ experience in accounting or other relevant practice experience.
SKILLS
- Fluent/Excellent in English (written and spoken).
- Qualified candidates should have experience working with an ERP system, preferably SAP/SAP BPC.
- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills and an effective cross functional communicator.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Excel, and PowerPoint, especially the integration with other MS products.
- Collaborative working style, ability to foster effective working relationships within a team environment.
- Ability to organize and work with large amounts of complex information
- Working knowledge of internal control concepts.
- Process oriented, data driven, and exceptionally well organized and detailed.
- Experience in various roles in the accounting and finance functions ( GL/AR/AP/Fixed assets).
