Job Summary
Handle the operational Risk Management activities for the Tax practice to achieve consistency, maintain quality, increase speed to market, and enhance risk management compliance, thereby eventually freeing up time for engagement teams to serve clients.
Key responsibilities
Opportunity
- Creation of opportunity as requested by engagement teams.
- Close opportunities as won / lost.
CBC
- Raise the CBC request for submission to the CBC team
- Educate and coordinate the teams with the document's requirements for the risk process.
Third parties
- Raise the CBC request for submission to the CBC team.
- Follow up with engagement team for independence and training completion confirmations.
- Raise the third-party CEAC.
CEAC
- Raise the CEAC (client and engagement)
- Guide the team on the CEAC process
- Job code opening
- Monitor CollectoR for completion of steps through to 'ready for job code opening' status.
Document retention
- Maintain electronic files with all Risk Management-related documentation for each opportunity and engagement on CollectoR.
- Ensure compliance with document retention protocols.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (master’s degree or certification in Risk Management is a plus).
· 1–2 years of experience in risk management, client onboarding, or compliance operations within a professional services environment (preferably in Tax, Audit, or Advisory).
Knowledge/technical skills
· Sentinel, CBC, CEAC, CollectoR,
· Procedures on client, third party and engagement onboarding.
· Engagement Contract Review Consultation Policy.
· Document retention policy.
Interpersonal skills
· Excellent team worker.
· Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
· Strong oral and written communication skills.
