Our client is seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer to help stabilize, extend, and scale the platform as they onboard new clients. The role is primarily backend-focused (Python/Django), with additional responsibilities for frontend support and improvements (React/Next.js).
Key Responsibilities
Backend Development: Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Python/Django.
Frontend Maintenance: Support and enhance existing frontend portals built with React/Next.js.
API Integration: Develop clean, reliable RESTful APIs and ensure secure integrations.
Database Management: Manage and optimize PostgreSQL databases for performance and scalability.
Security Implementation: Apply best practices for data protection and API security (OAuth2.0).
Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve backend and frontend performance bottlenecks.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with QA, frontend, and product teams to deliver complete features.
Documentation: Maintain clear and detailed technical documentation for backend systems and workflows.
Key Requirements
5+ years of fullstack engineering experience.
Strong hands-on expertise in Python and Django.
Solid experience with React.js and Next.js for frontend maintenance.
Proven track record in RESTful API design and integration.
Strong knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred).
Familiarity with AWS or other cloud environments.
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and Docker (basic usage).
Understanding of authentication flows (OAuth2.0) and secure API design.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
