Job brief:
One of our clients is looking to hire a DevOps Engineer to join their company and excel with the team.
Responsibilities:
- Designing and implementing the tooling, processes and infrastructure for the software lifecycle.
- Own and manage the internal development and production infrastructures.
- Support infrastructure needs of the development team
- Monitor, report, investigate and solve any infrastructure related issues
Technical Requirements
- Working with AWS cloud services (infrastructure setup, networking, security ..etc)
- DevOps for a microservice and API centric architecture
- Experience with Kubernetes and Docker
- CI / CD Experience
- Infrastructure as a code (CloudFormation / Terraform / Ansible)
- Linux Development Environment
- Development Languages (Python and other scripting languages)
Technical Skills That Are Considered a Plus
- DevOps for Data Infrastructures
- AWS SDK (Boto3 ..etc)
- Experience in cloud technologies like ELK, Prometheus
- Open-Source Technologies
- Version Management: Git
Qualifications
- Have 2+ years of relevant experience.
- Worked on previous projects. Open-Source projects are a plus.
- Strong self-learner and problem-solver.
- Capable of using online resources to find the solution to a certain problem.
- Flexible with various tools and languages.
- Can quickly learn new technologies when needed.
- Always consider all sides of a project when implementing a certain feature (security, performance, usability, etc.)
- Strong written English.
- Excellent team player and communicator.
- Excited to work in a dynamic startup environment.
