As a member of Munich Re the Mednet Group is a leading TPA across the MEA region. We are currently seeking to hire a Officer - IT (Technical Support) to join our team in MedNet Jordan:
You will be accountable to provide support resolving day-to-day technical & business applications issues for users through responding to telephone calls, emails and face to face requests where you will work closely with IT personnel on system maintenance and configuration projects with the following tasks and responsibilities:
Your Job:
· Acting as first level support of receiving all end user requests, filtering, resolving requests and escalating unsolved requests to the IT personnel according to priority.
· Ensure user satisfaction by providing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and problem resolution services.
· Create, develop and maintain reports to improve the monitoring of applications ensuring effectiveness in line with departmental policies and customer needs.
· Responsible to ensure day to day maintenance of network activities.
· Service Level Management: draw up needed SLA for all requirements and service request, concerning IT Infrastructure and business application. These SLAs must be monitored and measured on a regular basis and reviewed where needed.
· Responsible for back up all the servers in the Data center.
· Responsible for supporting and maintaining PBX, AVAYA and the Local Network.
· Responsible of checking end user support privileges such as access on systems, devices, websites, etc. to make sure that these privileges in line with the assigned end user authority matrix.
Qualifications - External
Your Profile:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or any related field.
· One year overall IT experience in educational field.
· Experience in supporting Windows Client & servers in a corporate environment along with experience in Networking.
· Good knowledge of the windows system architecture (Exchange, Windows).
· Good knowledge of monitoring and tuning of Routers and Switches.
· Good knowledge in Network (Implementation, Administration) & NW access rules.
· Structured, analytical and results oriented approach
