Job Overview
As a pivotal leader in the finance department, the Finance Manager will be responsible for driving the financial operations and strategy of our organization in the UAE. This role covers all financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, treasury management, risk assessment, and reporting. The Finance Manager will play a critical role in ensuring financial stability, optimizing processes, and supporting overall business performance.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a seasoned finance professional with at least 10 years of experience in financial management. They should demonstrate expertise in financial planning, treasury operations, stakeholder engagement, and team leadership. Strong strategic thinking, analytical capabilities, and the ability to enhance financial efficiency are key. Integrity, professionalism, and adaptability to dynamic environments are essential.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all financial aspects of the company, including planning, budgeting, forecasting, analysis, and treasury.
- Manage day-to-day financial operations such as invoicing, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and cash flow.
- Lead treasury operations, including liquidity management, cash forecasting, FX management, and bank relationship management.
- Ensure compliance with statutory law and financial regulations, responsible for financial reporting.
- Prepare and present accurate financial reports to management and stakeholders.
- Contribute to strategic planning and organizational decision-making.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to achieve business objectives.
- Assess and manage financial risks, implementing effective risk management policies.
- Continuously analyze and improve financial processes, systems, and controls.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience in financial management, treasury, or related fields.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Master’s degree or professional certifications (CFA, CPA, CMA, ACCA) strongly preferred.
- Solid knowledge of financial statistics, accounting principles, and treasury practices.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and MS Office Suite.
- Experience with Oracle NetSuite is a plus.
- Relocation to UAE is required.
