Summary of the role:
We’re currently looking for a bright and detailed-oriented Accountant to join our amazing team in Amman, who will be mainly responsible for processing accounting transactions, managing relationships with suppliers & customers, contributing to budget plans, maintaining accounting documents, preparing reports, and providing technical support.
Main Responsibilities:
- Process and document accounting transactions and enter account information.
- Liaising with suppliers and service providers, clients, and managing the relationship with them optimally.
- Participate in setting the finance department’s plan and budget.
- Participate in setting the finance department’s standards and processes.
- Processing employee expenses and employee salaries.
- Costing for projects as required by the management.
- Provide support on end-of-month and end-of-year closing processes.
- Receiving and processing invoices and financial statements.
- Maintain and update the company’s financial documents.
- Using digital systems to keep records and create payments, making sure to secure the financial information by completing database backups.
- Preparing periodic weekly, monthly, and annual reports in addition to any requested reports.
- Follow up collection at their due time.
- Logging daily entries in accordance with the accounting policy.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or accounting major.
- 2 - 3 years of experience in accounting.
- Excellent MS Excel skills.
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Good problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Good knowledge in dealing with systems and new technologies.
- Knowledge of Zoho Products is a plus.
- Relationship building and negotiating skills.
