The Function Purpose
Oversee the management and optimization of the portfolios and ensure alignment with organizational strategies and goals. Analyze portfolio performance and manage resources.
Main Responsibilities
- Ensure overall health of the Portfolio and ability to articulate value of the investments into the portfolio.
- Prioritize Projects, Programs and Products under the Portfolio and ensure effective ranking based on defined value.
- Conduct Capacity Planning at the portfolio level to ensure adequate staffing, skills and resourcing needs.
- Communicate performance of the Portfolio to Decision-Makers and Key Stakeholders.
- Keep up to date with Market Dynamics of each Portfolio and have a thorough knowledge of trends and technologies that can increase value of the Portfolio.
- Semi-Annually updates the roadmaps under the portfolio.
- Oversee Project Lifecycle under the portfolio and report on deviations from Policy Adherence.
- Act as a primary source of insights to the Operational Committees.
- Collect Project Status & Stage progress fortnightly and communicate to management.
- Administer financial spend as committed and reconciles with finance monthly and conduct a quarterly forecast of CAPEX spend.
- Track & report KPIs that are assigned to each portfolio and work collaboratively to achieve objectives and Outcomes.
Background
- Bachelor’s degree.
- (4+) years of relevant experience.
