Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Business Development Senior Manager to lead our growth initiatives, drive partnerships, and expand our market presence. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a minimum of 5 years in business development. This role requires a deep understanding of licensing, mergers and acquisitions, strategic partnerships, and market expansion strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute business development strategies aligned with the company’s growth objectives.
- Identify and evaluate partnership opportunities, including licensing deals, acquisitions, and collaborations.
- Lead negotiations and manage deal structuring to ensure favorable terms for the company.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including pharmaceutical companies, biotech firms, and investors.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
- Work cross-functionally with R&D, regulatory, and commercial teams to align business strategies.
- Oversee due diligence processes for potential deals and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with at least 5 years in business development.
- Proven track record of executing successful licensing agreements, acquisitions, or strategic partnerships.
- Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical market, regulatory landscape, and competitive dynamics.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
- B.Sc. in Pharmacy, life sciences, or a related field (MBA, PhD, or equivalent preferred).
