Job Purpose:
Lead sales efforts for solar PV projects by developing business opportunities, managing key client relationships, and ensuring successful project acquisition from concept to contract signing.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the solar PV sector (utility, commercial, and industrial).
• Manage the sales cycle from lead generation to contract closure.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, EPCs, and government entities.
• Collaborate with tendering, engineering, and finance teams to prepare proposals and quotations.
• Present technical and commercial offers, conduct negotiations, and secure project contracts.
• Develop sales strategies to meet company revenue and market share targets.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and policy changes affecting the solar sector.
• Provide regular sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and performance reports to management.
• Represent the company in exhibitions, conferences, and client meetings.
Qualifications & Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or Renewable Energy (MBA or PMP is an advantage).
• 5–8 years of experience in project sales within the solar PV or renewable energy industry.
• Strong knowledge of solar PV systems, project development, and EPC processes.
• Proven track record in achieving sales targets and closing large-scale projects.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Strong client relationship management and networking ability.
• Willingness to travel locally and internationally as needed.
