The Director of Communications will oversee the agency’s strategic communication vision, driving client growth, creative excellence, and market leadership across the region. This is a senior leadership role, responsible for shaping strategies, leading high-performing teams, and building strong client partnerships to deliver impactful, award-winning work.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide strategic leadership and direction for all communications functions within the agency.
• Lead, inspire, and mentor a multi-disciplinary communications team, fostering innovation, accountability, and excellence.
• Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with key clients, serving as a senior strategic advisor.
• Ensure client satisfaction, retention, and growth through high-quality, results-driven campaigns.
• Lead high-stakes pitch presentations and develop winning strategies to secure major regional and international accounts.
• Oversee campaign development and execution to ensure alignment with client objectives, brand vision, and industry best practices.
• Enhance internal processes to maximize operational efficiency, creative output, and client impact.
• Monitor market and industry trends, integrating global best practices into the agency’s work.
Qualifications & Experience:
• 12 years of progressive experience in communications, advertising, or marketing within a regional or global agency.
• Minimum 4-5 years in a director-level role managing large teams and high-profile clients.
• Proven track record of leading multi-market campaigns and securing major client wins.
• Exceptional strategic thinking, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at C-suite level.
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
• Master’s degree (MA/MSc) in Communications or Marketing is a strong plus.
