Join Our Team as a Demand Planning Supervisor
Real Cosmetics is looking for an experienced and dynamic Demand Planning Supervisor to lead our forecasting efforts. In this critical leadership role, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire demand planning process, ensuring accurate forecasts that are essential for optimizing inventory and driving business success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the Forecasting Process: Supervise the development of precise demand forecasts using statistical models, historical data, and market intelligence.
• Team Leadership: Guide and mentor a team of demand planners, fostering a culture of accuracy and continuous improvement.
• Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with senior leaders from Sales, Marketing, and Product Development to align forecasts with strategic business initiatives, new product launches, and promotions.
• Advanced Data Analysis: Oversee the analysis of sales data to identify trends, seasonality, and other insights that inform the forecasting process.
• Performance Management: Monitor and report on forecast accuracy, identify root causes for deviations, and implement corrective actions to enhance forecasting methodologies.
• Inventory Optimization: Collaborate with the Supply Planning team to ensure demand forecasts are aligned with supply plans, optimizing inventory levels and preventing stockouts or excess inventory.
• Executive Reporting: Prepare and present detailed demand forecasts and related reports to executive management, clearly outlining assumptions, risks, and opportunities.
• S&OP Leadership: Play a key role in Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings, providing strategic insights and leading the demand planning portion of the process.
Qualifications:
• A Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering.
• Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within Demand Planning, preferably in the cosmetics or consumer goods industry.
• Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CSCP, CPIM) are highly desirable.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Advanced proficiency in forecasting and inventory management software, as well as expert-level MS Excel skills.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple strategic priorities.
• The ability to start working immediately.
