Job Purpose
Ensure the effective implementation and compliance of the appropriate Quality System’s standards at TAJ ALSAFA® and its projects and supervise all activities related to Quality, including setting specifications and standards, inspection processes, internal audit, training, and risk management according to the relevant updated local and international standards.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial or other related engineering.
- 7-10 years of experience in a related field.
- Having ISO 9001 certification would be an advantage.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills.
- Leadership and Supervision Abilities.
- Time Management/Following up.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Suggesting the functional strategies for the department in coordination with section heads under supervision.
- Controlling the performance of the department, setting Key Performance Indicators, and ensuring that the set plans and programs achieve the desired objectives.
- Design and maintain programs and policies to drive Quality Assurance strategy and performance.
- Direct and control the overall internal and external audit process for Quality Assurance Systems by reviewing and approving the audit plans, and audit outputs (Proposal for Improvements, Problem Reports, Preventive and Corrective Actions).
- Carry out Quality Assurance internal audits and prepare regular Quality Assurance reports for the management team.
- Monitor and communicate standards created or updated by external bodies and integrate them within the Quality Assurance.
- Identify non-conformities in Quality Assurance practices at TAJ ALSAFA and its projects, analyze them by applying control methods to evaluate the current process and process changes, and recommend corrective actions to be taken to handle these non-conformities and to minimize occurrences.
- Conduct periodic meetings with subordinates to review progress and workflow, discuss suggestions, and take suitable actions accordingly.
- Provide guidance and practical expertise on Quality Assurance issues.
