Accountabilities and Key Roles:
- Execute all Export and Import L/Cs transactions and ensure accuracy and efficient processing as per P&P and approved authorities
- Check, validate all Import and Export L/Cs documents and process related transactions to ensure accurate and efficient processing in accordance to P&P and Int’l Uniforms
- Ensure following up on all Import and Export L/Cs documents pending issues with concerned parties
- Ensure that all received Import and Export L/Cs documents are checked accurately and efficiently prior to execution
- Ensure that the all discrepant documents are properly followed-up, and that all rejection swift messages are prepared and dispatched to the Team Leaders within the time frames stipulated in the P&P and Int’l Uniforms
- Follow up and ensure that all inquiries, cases and correspondences are resolved and processed in coordination with concerned people
- Prepare periodical statistics and reports required
- Ensure that all transactions are completed within the agreed time limit
- Perform any other task as requested by direct Trade Specialist/ Senior Trade Specialist & Dept. Manager
- Compliance performance in line with Arab Bank's Code of Conduct, P&Ps and Local Laws and Regulations
- Ensure accuracy, completeness and consistency of processing in line with P&P and controls resulting in optimal internal/ external customer service/ experience
Job Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Administrative and Financial Science or any related field from a recognized university
Experience:
- 2-5 years of experience in Banking operations
Competencies:
- Good in English and Arabic
- Knowledge in L/Cs operations and related policies and regulations
- Good Knowledge in L/Cs Int’l Uniforms and Practices
- Ability to work under pressure
