Use data analytics to improve the bank's efficiency and enhancing business performance; by understating business requirements, gathering, creating implemented and mentor driven data analytics, transforming, analyzing, and using data to identify trends, develop models, and make recommendations.
Job Duties:
- Gather data from all relevant sources, data transformation, aggregation and cleansing using automated advanced tools
- Recognize, extract, and interpret data trends from large and complex data sets
- Develop and implement data analysis, data collection tools and recommend ways to improve data reliability, efficiency, and quality
- Provide support and input in needed approach, methodology and requirements for identified analytics use cases
- Data feasibility assessment for potential analytics use cases and data initiatives
- Adhere to applicable policies, practices and standards (data quality, data protection, etc.), and identify issues affecting analytics and recommend remedial actions
- Apply advanced analytics, modelling and analysis techniques to develop analytical models and tools that help the bank achieve its objectives and goals
- Responsible for implementation, progress, and operations of the various use cases and ensure that the use case serves the business objectives and KPIs
- Provide recommendations on the enterprise data model, & data architecture
- Work with relevant stakeholders to understand business and identify opportunities for high impact analytics use cases across the bank
- Continuously identify areas of improvement in analytics models and use cases
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, AI, Data Science, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in data analytics
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, R, or Python
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Knowledge of statistical analysis and modeling techniques
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with complex datasets
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
