The Logistics Coordinator - Jordan
The Logistics Coordinator will be in charge of the day-to-day operation of the logistics and supply chain activities. The job involves ensuring the correct transportation, scheduling, and inventory management for service delivery schedules. The candidate should be well-organized, possess excellent verbal communication skills, and be able to manage multiple priorities
- Transportation & Scheduling: Schedule and coordinate service appointments, deliveries, and pick-ups of customers or clients in a timely manner.
- Inventory Management: Monitor, order, and manage service-related material, tools, and equipment.
- Vendor Coordination: Coordinate third-party vendors and suppliers to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Documentation & Reporting: Document inventory levels, transportation schedules, and service orders. Provide regular reports to management on logistics performance.
- Problem Solving: Identify and resolve any logistical issues, such as delays, cancellations, and miscommunications, and rectify them accordingly.
- Customer Communication: Communicate effectively with customers regarding their service requests, delivery status, and schedule changes.
- Compliance: Ensure logistics operations are in compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
- Process Improvement: Identify continuous opportunities to streamline logistics processes and optimize efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor all aspects of the supply chain, from procurement to delivery.
- Manage inventory levels and ensure adequate stock availability.
- Negotiate and maintain relationships with carriers and suppliers.
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement.
- Coordinate and track inbound and outbound shipments.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to customers.
- Manage and resolve any shipping or delivery issues.
- Oversee the loading, unloading, and storage of goods.
- Prepare and maintain accurate shipping documentation.
- Maintain accurate inventory records.
- Conduct regular stock audits to ensure accuracy.
- Implement strategies to optimize inventory levels and minimize costs.
- Negotiate and secure favorable freight rates.
- Identify and implement cost-saving measures in logistics operations.
- Track and analyze logistics costs to identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices.

Candidate Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field (desired but not required).
- Experience: Expressed experience (2+ years) in logistics coordination or an equivalent role in the service or supply chain industry.
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of logistics software, spreadsheets, and scheduling software. Ability to learn and adjust to new technology.
- Certifications: Logistics or supply chain management certifications are a bonus but not necessary.
- Maintain clear and concise business communication proficiency, both oral and written
- Detail oriented, well organized, and self-motivated with strong interpersonal skills
- Computer literate: competency in use of programs within MS Office Suite and aptitude for learning specialized software programs.
- Must be team player with ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environment with minimal oversight.
- Flexible schedule based on locations’ contractual operational; non-standard hours including on-call, weekends
- Fluent Arabic Speaker.
