Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and highly qualified Business Development Manager – Agriculture to lead and drive the agricultural business within the region. This individual will serve as the primary expert on agricultural products and strategies, responsible for executing business development initiatives, supporting sales growth, and expanding market presence. The role involves close collaboration with internal teams and external partners to identify new opportunities, strengthen supplier and customer relationships, and contribute to the strategic direction of the agricultural portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and strengthen the Agriculture business unit to achieve strategic and financial targets.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities, products, and market segments.
- Support company managers in positioning agricultural products across various locations by providing technical and commercial guidance.
- Develop and execute business development plans aligned with the company's growth objectives.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and customers to ensure long-term partnerships.
- Participate in exhibitions, trade events, and seminars to represent the company and build industry connections.
- Gather and analyze market intelligence related to competitors, products, customer needs, and trends.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to introduce innovative solutions and expand the product portfolio.
- Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, negotiating agreements and optimizing supply terms.
- Provide technical and commercial insights to sales teams and contribute to forecasting and strategic planning.
- Ensure the company is well-informed on regulatory developments and market dynamics affecting the agricultural sector.
- Oversee the collection and update of market data to enhance the company’s decision-making and competitive edge.
- Conduct regular field visits to assess market opportunities, product performance, and customer feedback.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Science, Agribusiness, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years’ experience in agriculture, with a focus on business development or commercial management.
- Proven track record in managing supplier relationships and negotiating contracts.
- Strong understanding of agricultural products, market channels, and regional dynamics.
