Join Our Team as a Demand planner at Real Cosmetics Company
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts utilizing statistical models, historical data, market trends, and business intelligence.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and Product Development teams to understand upcoming promotions, new product launches, and market changes that may impact demand.
• Analyze historical sales data, identify trends and seasonality, and incorporate these insights into the forecasting process.
• Monitor forecast accuracy, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions to improve forecasting methodologies.
• Work with the Supply Planning team to ensure alignment between demand forecasts and supply plans, optimizing inventory levels and minimizing stock outs or excess inventory.
• Prepare and present demand forecasts and related reports to management, highlighting key assumptions and potential risks.
• Conduct scenario planning to evaluate the impact of potential demand fluctuations and develop mitigation strategies.
• Participate in Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings to provide demand insights and contribute to integrated business planning.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Demand planner or in a similar role, preferably within the cosmetics or consumer goods industry.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Proficiency in inventory management software and advanced MS Excel skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
