Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled International Procurement Specialist to manage global purchasing activities, develop strategic vendor relationships, and ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services from international markets. The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills, deep knowledge of international trade regulations, and a proven track record in supply chain management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source, evaluate, and select international suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, terms, and delivery timelines with overseas vendors
- Ensure compliance with global trade laws, import/export regulations, and company policies
- Coordinate logistics, shipping, and customs clearance with freight forwarders and customs brokers
- Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships
- Conduct market analysis and identify new sourcing opportunities
- Manage purchase orders, invoices, and procurement documentation
- Collaborate with internal teams (logistics, finance, operations) to meet business needs
- Track and report on procurement KPIs and cost-saving initiatives
- Mitigate supply chain risks and resolve delivery or quality issues
