Job Purpose:
Will be responsible for planning and supervision of the daily shipping operations for the outbound shipments to ensure that all shipping process is actioned in a timely manner and as per the rules and regulations.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ensuring that all necessary shipping processes are implemented accurately and on time.
- Ensure Toolbox and Safety meetings are conducted daily with the team.
- Responding on the customers inquiries through the e-mail and attend their meetings.
- Ensure that company’s controls, policies, procedures, processes and applications are all understood by the team and implemented accordingly.
- Prepare periodic & non – periodic reports as required.
- Ensure and update the status of outbound shipments in ERP system.
- Perform any other roles and responsibilities within the scope of his / her specialization as assigned by the direct manager.
Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in the logistics science, supply chain management.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or supply chain management.
- Any accredited certificate or courses in custom clearance is a plus.
- Knowledge of incoterms, customs clearance process, packaging and shipping procedure
- Knowledge of ERP System.
- Adept with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)
