We are seeking an experienced
FTE Analysis Consultant to conduct a workload analysis and assess the required number of Full-Time Equivalents (FTEs) across various departments. The consultant will be responsible for identifying bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for workforce optimization while providing benchmark comparisons and actionable recommendations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in workforce planning, FTE analysis, and process optimization, with expertise in headcount optimization and cost reduction strategies.
Key Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in workforce planning, rightsizing, or organizational restructuring.
- Proven experience in FTE analysis, workforce optimization, and manpower studies.
- Expertise in workforce analytics, headcount optimization, and cost reduction strategies.
- Strong understanding of labor laws, redundancy frameworks, and employee transition planning.
- Experience in developing and implementing headcount calculators or workforce planning tools.
- Strong understanding of Sales, Marketing, Support Functions, and Warehouse Operations.
- Proven ability to identify and resolve bottlenecks and inefficiencies in workforce management.
- Ability to provide industry benchmarks and comparative analysis.

Key Responsibilities - FTE Analysis & Workload Assessment
- Conduct a detailed workload analysis for:
- Sales & Marketing (9 sections, ~20 roles)
- Support Functions (~10 departments, 40 roles)
- Spare Parts Warehouse
- Analyze current staffing levels and identify gaps and redundancies.
- Provide benchmark comparisons to industry standards.
- Identify workload distribution imbalances and recommend corrective actions.
- Workforce Optimization & Recommendations
- Identify bottlenecks and propose solutions for improving efficiency.
- Offer recommendations for restructuring, automation, and process improvement.
- Develop rightsizing strategies based on business needs, financial goals, and workforce analytics.
- Provide data-driven insights on workforce efficiency, restructuring scenarios, and optimization plans.
- Develop workforce scenarios based on seasonality, business growth, and efficiency improvements.
- Headcount Calculator Development
- Develop a user-friendly Headcount Calculator (Excel or System-Based) to enable HR and business units to:
- Input task volumes, process times, and productivity rates.
- Adjust for business growth, seasonality, and process changes.
- Generate dynamic workforce projections.
- Compliance & Transition Planning
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and workforce transition best practices.
- Support employee transition planning, including redundancy frameworks and redeployment opportunities.
- Develop role clarity, competency frameworks, and succession plans to support long-term workforce stability.
- Reporting & Presentation
- Prepare a comprehensive FTE Study Report outlining findings and recommendations.
- Develop and deliver a presentation of key insights to HR and relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure all reports and tools are aligned with business goals and operational requirements.
