Manager of Technology & Business Intelligence
Objective/Purpose of the Position:
This role aims to lead and develop the Business Intelligence, Digital Transformation, and Business Support unit strategically and operationally. The Manager of the unit is responsible for formulating and executing a comprehensive strategy across these three areas, achieving operational excellence, improving output quality, supervising the implementation of major projects, managing relationships with clients and suppliers, and enhancing team performance. A particular focus is placed on developing business intelligence solutions and data analysis to strengthen the company’s competitive advantage. This role ensures the establishment of BI units capable of delivering proactive analytics, reports, and strategic insights to support decision-making, foster growth, and drive continuous innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategy and Planning:
- Contribute to building and developing the strategy and plans for the unit in coordination with top management and consultants across the three tracks (Digital Transformation, Business Intelligence, and Business Support).
- Develop the unit's business model, services, and products (Business Intelligence, Digital Transformation, and Business Support) and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
2. Executive and Operational Management:
- Oversee the implementation of key technical systems and projects according to predefined timelines.
- Supervise existing technical systems, ensuring their efficient operation and alignment with the requirements of digital transformation, business intelligence, and process improvement.
3. Business Intelligence and Digital Transformation:
- Build and enhance the company's business intelligence capabilities, leveraging Big Data and transforming it into actionable insights, including historical and predictive reports, forecasts, and analytics that support decision-making for senior management and various departments.
- Utilize digital transformation technologies (automation, systems integration, e-commerce) to enhance processes, increase efficiency, and reduce costs.
4. Team Management and Capability Development:
- Manage and develop the team (Business Support, Data Analysts, and Business Analysts) to ensure exceptional performance, particularly in business intelligence and analytics.
- Participate in recruitment processes and select talent with expertise in intelligent data analysis and technical innovation.
- Implement quality assurance and control (QA & QC) principles to ensure the delivery of accurate, high-value reports and data analytics.
5. Communication and Relationships:
- Manage daily communications with the company's clients and service providers, ensuring their technical needs and data/reporting requirements are met with high efficiency and quality.
- Build strategic relationships with business partners and specialists in BI solutions and technical systems, fostering collaboration to achieve strategic objectives.
6. Research, Development, and Market Awareness:
- Stay updated with the latest solutions and technologies in technology, digital transformation, and business intelligence, including advanced analytics tools and machine learning.
- Conduct market research and benchmarking studies to enhance the company’s competitiveness by adopting best practices in business intelligence and data technologies.
Nature of Experience:
- A minimum of 10 years of practical experience in technology, project management, and managing technical teams.
- Proven experience in implementing technical projects such as ERP systems, Business Intelligence (BI) solutions, and enhancing technical systems.
- Experience in managing teams specializing in intelligent data analysis and designing interactive dashboards.
- Experience in working with service providers and clients, with the ability to develop strategic relationships.
