Role Description
The ERP Practice Director will oversee the implementation and management of Tier 1 ERP systems (SAP & Oracle), ensuring alignment with business objectives. The role involves strategic planning, analyzing data to make informed decisions. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing client relationships, and driving operational efficiency through effective ERP solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning and Business Development:
- Develops and executes the strategic direction for the ERP practice, identifying growth opportunities and aligning with the overall business strategy.
- Team Leadership and Management:
- Leads, mentors, and develops a team of ERP professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Project and Program Management:
- Oversees the planning, execution, and delivery of complex ERP implementation projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet the required quality standards.
- Resource Management:
- Allocates and manages resources effectively across multiple projects, balancing competing priorities and ensuring optimal utilization.
- Technical Expertise:
- Possesses a deep understanding of Tier 1 ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), including their functionalities, implementation methodologies, and best practices.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Builds and maintains strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management, functional leaders, and project teams, providing regular updates and addressing their concerns.
- Risk Management:
- Identifies potential risks associated with ERP projects and develops mitigation strategies to ensure successful implementation.
- Performance Management:
- Establishes performance metrics and tracks progress against key objectives, ensuring the ERP practice delivers value to the organization.
- Knowledge Management:
- Promotes knowledge sharing and best practices within the team and across the organization.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Develops and maintains strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and ensuring their satisfaction with the ERP solutions.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in Tier 1 ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) .
- Proven track record of successfully leading and managing large-scale ERP implementation projects .
- Strong leadership and team management skills .
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills .
- Solid understanding of project management methodologies and best practices .
- Experience in business development and client relationship management .
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment .
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., computer science, information systems)
