Position: Cloud Solutions Architect
We are seeking a skilled and innovative Cloud Solutions Architect to join LiverX growing team. In this role, you will design and implement secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud solutions that align with our strategic business goals. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to guide cloud adoption, optimize infrastructure, and ensure operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Architectural Design & Strategy:
- Lead the architectural design of complex, end-to-end cloud solutions, translating customer business requirements into scalable, resilient, and secure technical blueprints.
- Develop comprehensive architecture documentation, including diagrams, technical specifications, Statements of Work (SOWs), and Bills of Materials (BOM).
- Define and apply best practices for cloud governance, security, cost management, and operational excellence within your proposed designs.
- Perform detailed TCO analysis and cloud consumption forecasting using native cloud calculators to ensure solutions are financially and technically viable.
Solution Validation & Prototyping:
- Spearhead the design and execution of Proofs of Concept (POCs) and prototypes to validate architectural assumptions and de-risk complex projects.
- Deliver compelling technical presentations and whiteboard sessions that demonstrate the capabilities and viability of the proposed solution.
- Ensure solutions meet both functional and non-functional requirements, including performance, scalability, security, and availability.
Technical Leadership & Client Engagement:
- Act as the principal technical authority and trusted advisor for clients, guiding their strategic decisions and building long-term, high-trust relationships with key technical leaders and executives.
- Articulate the strategic value and technical merits of proposed architectures, ensuring all stakeholders understand the design rationale and its business impact.
- Stay at the forefront of cloud technology, leading the evaluation and adoption of new services and architectural patterns across major platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure).
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Knowledge Leadership:
- Collaborate closely with business development, sales, and delivery teams to ensure architectural integrity and a seamless transition from design to implementation.
- Provide technical leadership during the response to complex RFPs and RFIs, owning the overall solution strategy.
- Mentor other technical staff and contribute to the development of internal best practices, reusable architectural patterns, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in cloud architecture, engineering, or infrastructure roles.
- Hands-on expertise with at least one major cloud provider preferably GCP.
- Designing and building solutions, utilizing services like GKE, BigQuery, Cloud Run, Cloud Storage, and VPC).
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible), container orchestration (Kubernetes), and CI/CD methodologies.
- Deep understanding of networking, security principles, and data governance in a cloud context.
- Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF) is a plus.
- Cloud certifications are a strong plus (Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect certification is highly desirable).
