Job Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the company’s strategic and operational plans to ensure continuous growth and competitiveness.
- Oversee the execution of business plans and regularly assess performance against set objectives.
- Organize and manage all business operations to efficiently deliver on strategic plans and meet company goals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, identifying opportunities for collaboration and long-term partnerships.
- Foster and maintain productive relationships with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and service continuity.
- Lead pricing strategy, credit terms, and discount policies while aligning with customer expectations and market standards.
- Monitor and supervise the production plan to maintain stock levels to meet current and projected customer demand.
- Oversee order management and customer communication to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Address any technical or service-related issues to maintain customer satisfaction and product quality.
- Negotiate commercial terms and service agreements to optimize customer satisfaction and business performance.
- Provide regular sales and performance reports to the Regional Manager, including insights on customer trends and challenges.
- Develop and manage the annual operating budget, ensuring financial performance aligns with business goals.
- Oversee expense management to ensure compliance with the approved budget.
- Monitor and manage customer accounts, ensuring timely payments and resolution of any outstanding issues.
- Ensure all departments are adequately staffed and equipped to perform their functions effectively.
- Lead recruitment, training, and performance evaluations of staff to build a high-performing team.
- Provide technical guidance and leadership to subordinates, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Stay updated on industry trends and developments by attending relevant conferences and events.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience within the seeds industry.
- Proven track record in managing budgets, teams, and operational plans.
- Strong experience in customer relationship management and contract negotiations.
- Familiarity with production planning and inventory management processes.
- Excellent command of English (spoken and written); knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
