Job Scope
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all tasks related to the maintenance of the plant, ensuring the sustainability of machine operations through the effective management and planning of preventive maintenance activities. This includes the development of comprehensive plans and programs for regular maintenance to optimize performance.
Education
Job Requirements
A Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Electromechanical, or Electrical Engineering is required.
Experience
A minimum of five years of experience in a related field is essential.
Language
Proficiency in written and spoken Arabic and English is required.
Professional Knowledge
- Familiarity with systems such as ICH, GMP, GLP, and WHO regulations.
- Knowledge of international and EU regulations.
- Understanding of Ministry of Health regulations.
Main Competencies
Executive & Technical Duties:
- Execute plans and programs aligned with established objectives.
- Manage and develop plans and schedules for periodic maintenance programs for plants and buildings in coordination with the production department and other relevant departments.
- Monitor maintenance activities at the plant, addressing maintenance issues and prioritizing resolutions.
- Assess the performance of both new and existing machinery to determine whether to replace or maintain equipment.
- Schedule maintenance orders and allocate responsibilities among the maintenance team.
- Define and approve operational systems in written Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Develop training programs for employees.
- Contribute to the planning of engineering department activities.
- Recommend improvements and developments for machines, equipment, and replacement parts.
- Ensure effective maintenance of machines, whether preventive or corrective.
- Administer troubleshooting and rectify defects in production machines and utilities, including control issues.
- Act as the deputy to the engineering manager during their absence.
General Administrative Duties
- Prepare periodic reports concerning departmental activities.
- Recommend training opportunities for subordinates and assess the outcomes to ensure alignment with work requirements.
- Manage the manpower planning process in accordance with established budgets and plans.
- Conduct performance management activities for subordinates, ensuring that objectives are met as directed.
- Oversee subordinate personnel affairs, including leaves and vacations.
- Undertake any other work-related activities as directed by the Manager.
