Sharif Eye Centers Group is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Group Chief Financial Officer (GCFO) to join our executive leadership team and lead the financial strategy and performance of our growing healthcare group across Jordan and the UAE.
This is a senior executive opportunity for a results-driven financial leader who combines strong financial expertise with solid experience in the healthcare or medical sector.
Key Responsibilities :
• Lead the Group’s overall financial strategy across Amman, Zarqa, and Dubai operations.
• Provide strategic financial guidance to the Group CEO, Chairman, and Board of Directors.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, financial planning, and performance analysis.
• Develop consolidated Group financial reports, dashboards, and executive-level financial insights.
• Monitor profitability, revenue growth, cost efficiency, and financial performance by branch, department, and service line.
• Establish and maintain strong financial controls, policies, governance, and risk management frameworks.
• Oversee accounting, treasury, taxation, banking relationships, audits, and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure compliance with applicable financial and regulatory requirements in Jordan and the UAE.
• Lead annual budgeting and long-term financial planning.
• Evaluate investments, expansion projects, partnerships, CAPEX, and new business opportunities from a financial perspective.
• Lead, develop, and strengthen the Group Finance and Accounting teams.
• Drive financial transformation, automation, ERP utilization, and data driven decision making.
Candidate Profile :
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA, CPA, CMA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification is highly preferred.
• Significant senior level financial leadership experience, preferably as a CFO, Finance Director, or Group Finance Head.
• Proven experience in the healthcare, hospital, medical center, or medical services sector is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, cash flow management, financial controls, and management reporting.
• Experience managing multi-branch or multi country operations is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of healthcare revenue cycles, insurance related financial processes, medical service costing, and profitability analysis.
• Excellent analytical, leadership, negotiation, and decision making capabilities.
