Job Purpose:
Oversee & manage all Stores & logistics activities, including responsibility for Stock inventory & audit, Aircraft tooling and stores control.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop new strategies to streamline processes, reduce costs and expand spare and utilize existing spare.
- Responsible for the promotion and practice of safety culture amongst his team and participates in quality improvements activities.
- Ensure that quality, quantity, internal & external customer satisfaction, and financial commitments are met.
- Produce and monitor logistic & stores KPI’s and if required develop improvement strategies to meet targets.
- Maintain a system of stores paperwork/document archiving after maintenance in accordance with policies, procedures and regulation.
- Maintain and help develop systems of Tool & stores control ensuring compliance with policies, procedures and regulations.
Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, engineering, or any related field. MBA preferred.
- Certified supply chain professional (CSCP), Project management professional (PMP), Six sigma green belt is a plus.
- 10 years of experience as Logistics & Stores Manager in MRO, Aviation work environment preferred.
- Outstanding leadership skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Excellent command in English language
- Ability to handle and process successfully large amounts of information and simultaneous tasks.
- Ability to motivate, lead and mentor a team of people and interact with different stakeholders in the company;
