The F* Word is an AI-powered fashion workflow platform helping designers and fashion teams move from design concept to production-ready output faster.
We are currently building a new freelancer program focused on experienced fashion professionals who already create tech packs for real clients through platforms such as Upwork and Fiverr.
About the role
We are looking for a part-time Freelancer Sourcing Intern to help us identify and shortlist qualified fashion freelancers for this program.
You will be the first point of contact with applicants. Your role is to source candidates, post the opportunity on relevant platforms, conduct initial interviews, and send us a structured shortlist of the strongest applicants.
You will not be responsible for making the final hiring decision. We will provide you with clear candidate criteria, interview guidelines, and a screening framework to follow.
What you will do
• Post and manage the recruitment listing on Upwork
• Source experienced fashion freelancers who currently create tech packs for clients
• Review applicant’s resumes, Upwork profiles and relevant experience
• Conduct short 30 minute initial interviews with applicants using our interview guidelines
• Assess candidates against the criteria we provide
• Identify candidates with genuine tech-pack experience and active freelance work
• Maintain a simple candidate tracker with application status, profile links, interview notes and recommendation
• Send us a final shortlist of qualified candidates for our review
• Follow up with shortlisted candidates when required
Who is a fit
• Someone interested in recruitment, talent sourcing, fashion, or community operations
• Strong communication and written English
• Comfortable conducting short professional interviews over video and chat
• Organized and able to maintain candidate information accurately
• Good judgment when evaluating whether someone's experience matches a brief
• Comfortable working independently with clear guidelines
• Familiarity with Upwork and/or Fiverr is strongly preferred
• Fashion industry knowledge is a plus, especially familiarity with tech packs, fashion designers, garment construction or production
Daily Tasks
We will provide the exact screening criteria and interview questions.
You do not need to be a technical fashion expert yourself. We will give you the guidelines and criteria needed to conduct the screening.
Your responsibilities are primarily sourcing, interviewing, organizing and recommending candidates.
