Role Purpose:
Operate the GKE platform and manage GCP infrastructure provisioning through Terraform, ensuring controlled, repeatable, and version-managed cloud infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Operate GKE development and production clusters — node pools, upgrades, scaling, capacity, and incident/change support
- Manage GCP provisioning through Terraform: version-controlled code, deployment workflow, drift management, and rollback readiness
- Maintain IaC standards, module libraries, and documentation; ensure changes are auditable and transferable
- Troubleshoot Kubernetes and IaC issues; support reliability, security, and performance of the platform
Required Skills & Experience:
- 3+ years of hands-on GKE and Terraform experience
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes operations and Terraform provisioning on GCP
- Kubernetes and/or Terraform certification preferred (e.g., CKA, HashiCorp Terraform Associate)
- Ability to work collaboratively to avoid single-person dependency on this capability
