Role Description The Deputy Manager Medical Tourism is a full-time, on-site role based in Amman, Jordan. This role is responsible for overseeing and coordinating medical tourism operations, including managing patient inquiries from abroad, supporting case evaluation, and facilitating communication between patients, healthcare providers, and internal teams. The Deputy Manager will organize treatment plans, travel logistics, and post-care follow-up, ensuring a smooth and safe medical journey for international patients. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring service quality, maintaining accurate records, developing relationships with partner hospitals and clinics, and ensuring compliance with local regulations and Tebcan’s policies. The role also involves contributing to process improvement, supporting training initiatives for staff, and providing regular reports on medical tourism activities and performance.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in clinical domains, including Medicine and Medical Affairs, to understand treatment plans and coordinate with healthcare professionals effectively.
- Experience with Research and Clinical Research to support evidence-based decision-making and the evaluation of medical tourism services and outcomes.
- Background in Training, with the ability to support staff development and guide team members on medical tourism processes and patient-care standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with international patients, clinical teams, and external partners.
- Organizational and coordination abilities, including case management, documentation, and attention to detail.
- Experience in healthcare management, medical tourism, or hospital administration is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Medicine, Nursing, Healthcare Management, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications in healthcare or medical tourism are an advantage.
- Proficiency in English and Arabic, with strong written and verbal communication; additional languages are a plus.
- Comfort working in a technology-enabled environment and using digital tools for patient management and data handling.
