The Function Purpose
Capital Bank of Jordan is looking for a Financial Reporting Manager who will be responsible for managing liquidity, tracking inflows of funds, planning, analyzing, budgeting, and generating information to support decision making.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation of the Bank's standalone and consolidated quarterly, semi-annual, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS, while ensuring the timely implementation of new and amended IFRS standards and assessing their impact on the Bank's financial reporting.
- Ensure the accurate and timely preparation and submission of all regulatory financial reports required by the Central Bank of Jordan and other regulatory authorities.
- Manage the financial reporting close process and coordinate with, Risk, Treasury, IT, and subsidiaries to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Review and validate financial data, reconciliations, disclosures, and supporting schedules to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with IFRS, CBJ regulations, and internal policies.
- Lead the preparation of financial statement disclosures, management reports, and supporting documentation for external auditors, regulators, and senior management.
- Monitor changes in IFRS, Central Bank regulations, and other reporting requirements, assess their impact, and coordinate implementation across the Bank.
- Support external and internal audits by coordinating audit requests and ensuring timely resolution of financial reporting matters.
- Coach, supervise, and develop the financial reporting team while promoting high standards of quality, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
Background
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
(7+) years of relevant experience.
