We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Cost Accountant to join our Finance Department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring operational costs, analyzing financial data, preparing cost reports, and supporting management in improving cost efficiency and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze operational and departmental costs.
- Prepare monthly cost reports and variance analysis.
- Monitor and control operating expenses.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Review and allocate direct and indirect costs.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Develop cost control procedures and recommend cost-saving initiatives.
- Coordinate with operational departments to ensure accurate cost allocation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in Cost Accounting or Management Accounting.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
- CMA certification is a plus.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Excellent command of English (written and spoken).
- Previous experience in the aviation or airline industry is preferred.
