Job Purpose
We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Operations Manager to lead and oversee all operational activities of a manufacturing business. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring operational efficiency, product quality, resource optimization, and continuous improvement while supporting business growth and financial sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Management
- Lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of the business.
- Ensure effective coordination across production, procurement, logistics, sales, customer service, finance, HR, and administration.
- Develop and implement operational plans aligned with organizational objectives.
- Monitor operational performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Prepare regular operational and management reports.
Production & Quality
- Oversee production planning and scheduling to ensure timely delivery.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and operational procedures.
- Monitor inventory levels and optimize the utilization of materials and resources.
- Improve productivity while minimizing waste and production costs.
Financial & Administrative Management
- Participate in the preparation and monitoring of operational budgets.
- Monitor operational costs and support cost-control initiatives.
- Oversee procurement, inventory management, and resource planning.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and applicable regulations.
Business Development
- Support the implementation of sales and business development strategies.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational performance and increase revenue.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and business partners.
- Participate in developing new business opportunities and expanding existing markets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of progressive management experience in manufacturing, production, operations, or a related industry.
- Experience in production planning, quality management, inventory control, and supply chain operations.
- Professional certifications in Operations, Supply Chain, Quality Management, or Lean Manufacturing are an advantage.
