Tahboub Brothers for Wooden Industries is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join our Finance Department.
As a company specializing in the manufacturing of high-quality wooden products, furniture, kitchens, and joinery solutions, we are looking for a reliable professional who can support our daily accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records.
Key Responsibilities
- Record accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Record expenses and revenues and issue sales invoices.
- Review supplier invoices, purchase orders, payment terms, and supporting documents.
- Prepare accounting records and financial data for audits.
- Perform daily cash, petty-cash, deposit, and account reconciliations.
- Maintain organized records of invoices, payment vouchers, cancelled invoices, and supporting documents.
- Review employee advances, expense claims, and permanent imprest accounts.
- Verify supplier obligations and monthly payment due dates.
- Prepare supplier statements in coordination with the Procurement Department.
- Ensure payments comply with purchase orders, contracts, and agreed terms.
- Prepare monthly reports on upcoming payments, advance payments, and related settlements.
- Support cash-flow forecasting by reporting liabilities due in the following month.
- Assist with other accounting and financial tasks as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Good command of English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and document-management skills.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with Finance, Procurement, Sales, and other departments.
