About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Fleet Manager to lead and optimize the company’s fleet and refrigeration assets, ensuring safe, reliable, compliant, and cost effective operations. The role will oversee fleet maintenance, vehicle scheduling, asset lifecycle management, refrigeration equipment, budgeting, compliance, and operational efficiency. The Fleet Manager will also lead and develop the fleet team, manage vendors and service providers, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to support business growth and customer service excellence.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
- 10–15 years of experience in Fleet Management.
- Strong knowledge of fleet management systems, vehicle maintenance, and repair.
- Experience in refrigeration equipment and asset lifecycle management is preferred.
- Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
- Experience in CAPEX and OPEX budgeting and cost management.
- Strong knowledge of fleet safety, compliance, and risk management.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Good command of English, both written and spoken.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and optimize the company’s fleet and refrigeration assets to ensure safe, reliable, and cost-effective operations.
- Develop and manage CAPEX and OPEX budgets for fleet and refrigeration assets.
- Oversee vehicle maintenance, preventive maintenance programs, repairs, and service schedules.
- Ensure fleet compliance with applicable safety laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Monitor fleet performance, including costs, maintenance quality, and vehicle breakdowns.
- Manage the complete lifecycle of refrigeration equipment, including installation, relocation, maintenance, replacement, and disposal.
- Lead, coach, and develop the fleet team to improve technical capabilities and performance.
- Manage fleet vendors, dealerships, agencies, and service providers.
- Ensure safe operating conditions across garage workshops and promptly address any safety concerns.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all company vehicles and assets.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
