Position Overview:
As a Group Maintenance & Operations Engineer, the role involves maintenance activities across the group's factories, ensuring smooth operations, taking into consideration health, safety, and environmental standards, and managing essential software systems. An essential aspect of this position is initiating and managing group operations manuals to support all operating companies in maintaining the flawless operation of their production lines.
Responsibilities:
- Managing maintenance processes across the operating units and coordinating with asset manufacturers to ensure equipment efficiency. Coordinate with asset manufacturers to obtain technical support.
- Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance strategies and schedules tailored to the needs of each operating unit.
- Initiating clear and efficient machine operating manuals including troubleshooting steps (might require more than one language).
- Performing actual maintenance activities and solving mechanical problems when required across different locations.
- Managing and organizing the spare parts items (Digital inventory tracking system & Critical spare parts stock review).
- Managing, upgrading, and updating CMMS tasks (training the required team and covering all locations).
- Training the maintenance team to follow the correct regulations and safety precautions during maintenance actions
- Train operators for first level maintenance and importance of proper day-to-day machine handling.
- Creating and managing controlled history maintenance logs for every machine.
- Managing and monitoring the upgrade steps showing the improvements before and after.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
- Fluent Proficiency in Arabic and English language.
- 4- 7 years of experience is required for this role.

- Technical competences related to actual maintenance tasks and activities for the different variety of equipment in a production facility
- Maintenance Management skills include maintenance strategy development, CMMS administration, Spare parts management.
