Sales & Marketing Manager – Channels Segment & Levant
- The Sales & Marketing Segment Manager is responsible for defining and executing all sales and marketing activities—including products, services, and systems—within the assigned industry segment. This role ensures alignment with the overall business strategy and drives growth across all relevant performance metrics within targeted market segments.
- The role focuses on developing a comprehensive market approach encompassing direct sales, third‑party channels, and project-driven opportunities, while building and nurturing strong customer relationships with key stakeholders. The ultimate goal is to identify, pursue, and convert market opportunities into sustainable business results.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and develop customer contacts
- Achieve sales and EBIT targets
- Promote our entire portfolio and act as the company lead for allocated markets
- Prepare sales plans and growth initiatives as aligned with the company directives.
Strategic & Market Leadership
- Interpret and implement the segment strategy to meet business requirements.
- Develop and communicate a strong value proposition for the target segment.
- Ensure consistent application of standards through clear definitions and continuous oversight.
- Provide insights and feedback on market trends, customer requirements, and competitive activity.
Sales Management
- Identify and prioritize key accounts to drive growth and achieve sales targets.
- Monitor pricing and margin levels within the segment and support the sales team in negotiating key contracts.
- Develop and execute a market-based approach across direct, channel, and project sales.
Customer & Stakeholder Engagement
- Build and maintain strong, senior-level relationships with key customers, decision makers, and stakeholders.
- Ensure effective communication of segment strategy, value proposition, and market direction.
Leadership & Expertise
- Apply advanced professional knowledge typically gained through significant experience and/or advanced education.
- Manage projects and processes independently with limited supervision.
- Coach, support, and review the work of junior professionals.
- Navigate and resolve difficult and sometimes complex problems.
Experience required.
- Degree in Engineering, with a preference for Electrical background
- 5+ years experience in technical B2B sales
- Experience in Electrical Transmission systems will be a strong differentiator
- Ability and readiness to travel extensively in the Levant and Near East.
- Must be eligible for employment in Jordan
