Manager - Onsite | Majid Al Futtaim Retail | Amman, Jordan
Role Purpose:
The Manager – Onsite drives the day-to-day execution and optimization of the look and feel, user journeys, and performance of our web, mobile web, and app experiences. Working within a cross-functional team spanning growth/marketing, commercial, and product/CX, the role delivers intuitive, high-performing, and personalized experiences—from homepage modules and category navigation to checkout—using data, testing, and continuous improvement to meet business goals.
Responsibilities:
Strategize Sale Campaigns
- Plan central theme and USP of sale campaigns.
- Work closely with the commercial teams in the markets to boost promotional performance.
- Use data and analytics to optimize campaigns, report on results, and drive shopping innovations.
- Liaise with Content and Creative team to build promotional campaigns.
- Manage product boosting on campaign landing pages.
- Conduct competitor analysis while preparing sale campaigns.
- Customize and optimize the UX and flow based on each market across different markets.
- Monitor app KPIs including sessions, engagement, bounce rate, load time, and conversion, and drive initiatives to improve them.
- Manage performance optimization of key app modules—especially homepage and product discovery carousels—using A/B testing, analytics, and experimentation platforms.
- Champion customer-centric thinking using behavioral data, customer feedback, and UX research.
Optimize on-site customer experience
- Work with Onsite Marketing teams on central campaigns, implementing best practices, new product features and campaign optimization.
- Manage Home Page, category pages and onsite assets.
- Optimize Banner CTRs and CTTs on Home Page and Sale Page.
- Deploy content marketing communications and promotions to drive customer engagement and increase long-term buyer retention.
- Curate content to create discovery experience for our buyers, constantly iterating and improving the overall experience.
- Understand on-line versus off-line consumer shopping behavior and trends to optimize on-line shopping experience and maximize commercial impact.
- Manage category landing page implementation & optimization by understanding key category driver and opportunities.
- Communicate with cross functional teams like Content, Paid Media, CRM, Analytics, and online Merchandising teams.
- Assure constant collaboration with Omni-channel product & UX team.
Minimum experience
- 4-6+ years of Experience in ecommerce / merchandising role. Preferably 3+ years in an onsite merchandising, product management role or in an E-Commerce company.
Skills
- Strong analytical skills.
- Proficient user of Google Analytics, Tableau and MS Office.
- Experience working with app performance metrics, personalization engines, and experimentation tools (e.g., Firebase, GA4, Optimizely).
- Proficient in Web and App Analytics
- Proficient in Reporting and data visualization tools
- Experience in strategic budget management for paid search campaigns, optimizing resources for maximum return on investment
