Tradeasia International is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead market expansion and revenue growth across the Levant region and Turkey. This role will focus on developing new business opportunities, strengthening customer relationships, and driving sales of industrial chemicals, polymers, and raw materials within the assigned markets.
The ideal candidate will possess strong commercial acumen, extensive industry knowledge, and a proven ability to manage regional markets while working in a fast-paced international trading environment.
Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and penetrate new market opportunities across Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, and Turkey.
- Expand Tradeasia's customer base by acquiring new clients and developing strategic partnerships.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to increase market share and business growth.
- Manage the complete sales cycle, including lead generation, customer engagement, quotation preparation, price negotiation, contract execution, and after-sales support.
- Maintain and strengthen long-term relationships with manufacturers, distributors, traders, and end-users.
- Monitor customer needs and provide suitable product and supply chain solutions.
- Coordinate closely with headquarters and logistics teams to ensure smooth procurement, quality assurance, shipment execution, and timely product delivery.
- Support customers throughout the order fulfillment process and address operational issues proactively.
- Conduct ongoing market research and analysis on industry trends, competitor activities, pricing movements, and regulatory developments.
- Provide market insights and recommendations to support business planning and strategic decision-making.
- Monitor trade regulations and market dynamics, particularly within Turkey and the Levant region.
- Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Ensure sustainable business growth while maintaining healthy profit margins.
- Represent Tradeasia at industry events, trade exhibitions, conferences, and networking activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Business Administration, International Trade, or a related field.
- 3 - 4 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Trading within the chemical industry, industrial raw materials, ingredients, or related sectors.
- Proven track record of developing and managing business across the Levant region and/or Turkey.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Solid understanding of international trade practices, including Incoterms, shipping procedures, and Letters of Credit (L/C).
- Commercially driven with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently in a target-oriented and fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel frequently within the Levant region and Turkey.
- Native or professional proficiency in Arabic.
- Strong command of English, both written and spoken.
- Turkish language proficiency is highly preferred.
