Our client AzarHRS is seeking a highly accomplished and strategic Head of Operations to join our dynamic team in Amman, Jordan. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive operational strategies aligned with organizational goals, ensuring seamless day-to-day execution.
- Oversee and manage all aspects of supply chain operations, from procurement and logistics to inventory management and distribution, to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.
- Drive continuous process improvement initiatives across all operational departments, leveraging Lean Six Sigma principles to enhance productivity and quality.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing operations team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and professional growth.
- Develop and manage operational budgets, ensuring financial discipline and optimal resource allocation to achieve strategic objectives.
- Establish and monitor key performance metrics (KPIs) to track operational performance, identify areas for improvement, and report on progress to senior leadership.
- Proactively identify and mitigate operational risks, implementing robust strategies to ensure business continuity and compliance.
Required Qualifications
Experience & Education
- Bachelor of Business Administration degree or a related field.
- A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in operations management, with a strong emphasis on strategic leadership.
Skills & Languages
- Demonstrated expertise in Strategic Planning, Budget Management, Process Improvement, and Supply Chain Management.
- Proficiency in Resource Allocation, Risk Management, Performance Metrics, and achieving Operational Excellence.
- Exceptional Team Leadership, Problem Solving, and Decision Making capabilities.
- Strong Communication and Negotiation skills.
- Proven experience in Project Management.
- Adept at Data Analysis and interpretation to drive informed operational decisions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt).
- Fluency in English is highly desirable.
